HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! :D yup, i know this is like 9 days late but it IS the new year right? ;) The past has been the past, done but not forgotten. Looking at this new year, i already know there is gonna b be so much ups and downs. 2011 was such an eventful year for me, starting in a new school, making new friends, joining my youth's worship team, being in youth's camp committee, assessments abundant, celebrations with my family, going caroling for christmas, doing props for the play, singing on Christmas day and then dancing on new year's eve in church. It meant so much to me, dancing on that day was a miracle to me cause my dad ain't Christian and we never went for 'watchnight service' every year-end because he wouldn't like it and throw a fuss. 2011, he finally agreed to come.....maybe its cause i kind of had to make a treaty with him for me to dance and for him to come but nonetheless, HE CAME!!! :D God has blessed me so much and to end the year with my friends and family AND while serving God? It was truly a blessing i am grateful for :)
So, it brings us to 2012 :P Everyone was going all out about the apocalypse and how in december, the world will meet its end.WoW, just WOW :/ i mean, if the world ends then i guess it just does. We all die anyway, all we can do is live today like tomorrow never comes :) "If tomorrow never comes" haha, its from an old song :P Anywayz, its gonna be some crazy year huh? :/ 'sigh' i'm involved in so many things now, let's not even go to subjects of my personal life.......complicated is all it is......
I'm hoping this year will be good, that i'll be able to stand through the year but practically speaking from experience, that never happens ;P oh well, you know the usual dramas and emotions and just basic teen stuff? yeah, it does happen to even the unlikeliest people and it can feel like.....well.....just painful, dull, depressing, demeaning, stressful and a prick really. 'sigh' but what am I to do but to trust and obey, cause there's no other way :)
Let all the earth rejoice in the Lord our God, for He is exalted on high to reign forevermore <3
